Objectives
The overall goal of the NSS is to promote the professional development of nurses during their student career to plant the seed for future professional development through the following activities:
- Grad event planning
- Social event planning
- Fundraising
- Monthly general meetings
- Professional activities
- Networking with multiple societies and nursing administrators
Who We Are
We are the Nursing Student Society (NSS), a society run by UVic Nursing students created to cater to nursing students! Our aim is to maximize your student nursing experience here on campus. The NSS is committed to engaging nursing students in grad planning, fun events, fundraisers, and leadership opportunities!

EVENTS
Welcome to UVic Class 2012. This is the last phase of your journey and we encourage you to work hard and persevere. You've come so far and you're so close to being finished. Please don't hesitate to contact us at the NSS if there is anything we can do to smooth your transition. We are also looking for students from your year to serve as representatives on the NSS executive.The NSS relies on the spirit, commitment, and enthusiasm of motivated nursing students with a common goal of creating a strong, fun, collaborative nursing student community. It works collaboratively with the Mentorship Program. We need your help (Class of 2012) to keep it going!
