Overview

Post diploma students are graduates of hospital schools of nursing or college nursing diploma programs who hold active licensure as registered nurses in the jurisdiction in which they are working. Many have several years of experience in nursing although this is not a pre-requisite for admission to the school.

Most post diploma students who study in the Distance Education Program live in both urban and rural areas in Canada and the United States. Many have full time careers often with family responsibilities, and prefer the flexibility of time and geography afforded by distance education.

Courses are delivered over a 13 week period three times per year. Student participation is expected throughout the term. One week on-site courses are also offered for elective courses. Please see course descriptions and delivery schedule for more information.
