Welcome to the UVic, School of Nursing Honor Society!
In addition to the Honor Society Executive on the left, there are four Honor Society Committees:
The Governance Committee is chaired by Maxine Alford and includes Dr. Lynn Stevenson from VIHA. This committee determines membership eligibility and has drafted by-laws for the organization.
The Program Committee is chaired by James Ronan and includes assistance from the executive. Please contact James at jronan@uvic.ca.
The Communications Committee is chaired by Rob Calnan. If you have a desire to help with the newsletter or website or have items to include, please contact Rob at Robert.Calnan@viha.ca
  
  
  
The School of Nursing Honor Society enjoyed an educational event on the evening of April 13, 2010 with guest speaker Ms. Rachel Bard, CEO Canadian Nurses Association.

Renewal of Honor Society Membership:
The fiscal year for the Nursing Honor Society ends June 30th, so now is the time to renew your membership. Membership fees remain the same: $20 for student members and $30 for regular members. Your membership renewal is very important since we are trying to maintain numbers to ensure eligibility for membership as a chapter of Sigma Theta Tau International.
